This is the largest book on flat plaits to have been published, yet it does not cover the most common plaits!
This is because they have already been covered in two other books by the same author Bush Leatherwork and More Bush Leatherwork.
This book is intended for the person who already knows the basics, and is interested in developing further. Many of the plaits illustrated here are unusual, but easy to do while others are very complex and not for the faint hearted!
The book is quite heavy, but spiral bound to allow the pages to sit open whilst you follow the complex plaiting patterns

The first volume of this work illustrated all the important flat plait as well as a number of interesting small knobs and knots.
This second volume deals with the round knots, those knots which are designed to wrap around any object that needs covering. Even a book this size only touches on the subject but it attempts to cover all the popular knots and some complicated ones for people who enjoy a challenge.
Illustrating a round knot can be difficult, as half the knot is hidden at the back of the work, but this book leaves no steps hidden. The job is flattened so that everything is visible.
Takes a bit of getting used to, but well worth it.
Also a heavy book, and spiral bound to lay flat while you work from it.
